It's pronounced “Shawn-Tall”. Because I’m so tall….(I swear, that joke lands way better in person, you’ll just have to trust me).
I’m half German, half Peruvian, and grew up in a Mexican-American border town (Brownsville, TX—where the tacos are superior!).
Despite the seemingly odd combination of identity and culture, these diverse backgrounds fed into my creative expression which has driven my love of storytelling.
From being a bookworm throughout my childhood, to bringing characters to life on stage, and now with my conceptual photography and design work, stories are how I better understand myself, others, and the world around me.
As a UX Designer I am driven by insatiable curiosity. When it comes to my design methodology, I follow two mottos: Keep it simple and keep it human.
