Hi! I’m Chantal Lesley (she/her/ella).
I’m an art director, designer, and artist with nearly eight years of experience creating visually compelling concepts and brand systems that tell meaningful stories. My work is driven by clarity, impact, and a desire to build thoughtful design solutions that genuinely connect with people. I enjoy blending creativity with strategy to shape visual languages that feel both functional and emotionally resonant.
Currently working in-house for Frost Bank, I lead and execute creative projects from concept through production, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, product, and development. My approach to art direction centers on strong visual systems, narrative consistency, and attention to detail, while remaining flexible enough to support fast-paced design needs. With a background in photography, I bring a strong eye for composition and image-making, often directing visual content to align tone, message, and audience.
Alongside my design practice, I maintain an active fine art practice exploring themes of identity, migration, and memory. While distinct from my commercial work, this practice informs my sensitivity to storytelling, cultural nuance, and visual authorship. Outside of the studio, I find inspiration in simple moments, getting lost in nature, learning new languages, and exploring books that spark curiosity. These experiences keep me grounded and continually excited to bring new perspectives into my work.
